I love my cutting machines. I have a Cricut that I’ve had for a bajillion years, a sizzix and most recently a cameo silhouette. This is a super simple idea for quick wall art. I used my Cricut but I’m sure you could adjust for your silhouette. I bought 3 frames at Marshall’s. I painted them all the same color so that they would all match, I used Annie Sloan Old White and dry brushed some coco on them to highlight some areas
I used the Sophisticated cartridge for my cricut machine and cut out S, J, B, initials for my kids. To add “pop” I cut out the silhouette that matches in solid black paper. I used girly paper for the initials because I planned on putting them in my sewing room. Then I glued each initial to its silhouette and then the whole unit to more girly paper that is the background to the frame. I trimmed it to fit in the frame and there ya go, Super easy home decor that depending on your paper can go anywhere, Change it up for holiday colors to decorate at the holiday.
Here they are in my sewing room!I actually tied ribbon on them to use as hangers for interest, The metal hanger was already on that frame when I bought it. Great idea too for Gallery wall art.
